The Hungry Bear: come hungry!!!!

We tried the Hungry Bear today with the goal of giving our guests a good review. It’s easy to access off highway 24 in Woodland Park. Parking is easy and free.

In the front room they have a TON of bear stuffed animals and collectibles for decor. The kids loved it!

The menu is enormous with a ton of breakfast and lunch items. They had options from biscuits and gravy to specialty omelettes, scrambles, pancakes and more.

My girls both got the kids pancake meal and it was more than enough food. I choose the veggie scramble with buckwheat pancakes. We all took home doggie bags and probably could have all shared one meal.

Overall, the restaurant was good and had a lot of options. I think we prefer the Pantry in Green Mountain Falls (just down the road another 10 minutes), but we would not hesitate to come back.
